Shelina is a New York City based musical theatre performer originally from Atlanta, Georgia. A grounded and emotionally intuitive actress, she is most at home playing romantic leads, comedic ingenues, and heartfelt contemporary heroines. Her work is rooted in empathy and a deep understanding of human behavior, allowing her to bring nuance and authenticity to every role.

Shelina began her artistic journey as a violinist before transitioning into theatre in high school, where her love of storytelling through music took center stage. After initially pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre at Valdosta State University, life circumstances required her to step away from performing. During that decade, she built a career as a licensed therapist; an experience that profoundly shapes her approach to character development and emotional truth.

Returning to the stage during the pandemic, Shelina quickly began booking professional work in Atlanta before relocating to New York City.

Now immersed in the heart of the industry, she is passionate about contemporary musical theatre and driven by a renewed clarity, resilience, and artistic depth.
